Zone 2 lighting explosion-proof small common sense contains many aspects. Today I mainly tell you about the principle, then what kinds of protection types does the principle contain and the corresponding basic principles? ! According to IEC or EN, zone 2 lighting can be divided into the following types of protection.

1. Non-sparking type "n"

2. Intrinsically safe "i"

3. Flameproof type "d"

4. Sand filling type "q"

5. Pouring type "m"

6. Positive pressure type "p"

7. Increased safety type "e"

8. Oil-filled type "o"

hazards lights               The corresponding basic principles are as follows:

Non-sparking type "n" zone 2 lighting : Electrical equipment cannot ignite surrounding explosive gases (under normal operating conditions and under in certain abnormal operating conditions)

Intrinsically safe type "i"zone 2 lighting : the spark and thermal effects generated by the internal circuit of the equipment under normal conditions or under specified operating conditions under specified conditions.Neither can ignite explosive mixing.                     Explosion-proof type "d": When the equipment is in normal operation, the parts that can generate the spark arc are placed in the explosion-proof outer casing, and the explosion-proof casing can withstand the internal explosion. The pressure is not lost and can be prevented from spreading to the outer casing.

Sand-filled “q”explosion proof led: an explosion-proof type of electrical equipment that completely buryes the fixed conductive parts that can ignite explosive gases into the filling material. To prevent ignition of the external explosive atmosphere.

The encapsulated type "m"explosion proof led: a portion of the composite that may ignite the explosive mixture is encapsulated in the composite so that it does not ignite the surrounding explosive atmosphere.

Positive pressure type "p"explosion proof led: keep the internal protective gas pressure higher than the surrounding, so as to prevent the explosive mixture from entering the outer casing or allowing a sufficient amount of protective gas to pass through. Pass the outer casing to reduce the concentration of the internal explosive mixture below the lower explosion limit.

Increased safety type “e”explosion proof led: no arc, spark and dangerous high temperature will occur during normal operation, and further protective measures will be taken on the structure to improve the design.Security.   Oil-filled “o” hazards lights: The entire part of the electrical equipment is immersed in the protective fluid so that the equipment cannot ignite the explosive gas on the surface or outside the casing.
